The Rougemont name is linked with several Knight Templars who once
owned the Shroud of Turin, and the first King and Queens of the
Kingdom of Jerusalem known as the Otremer. Stephanie de Milly was the
daughter of Philip de Milly, a Knights Templar. The de Milly family
were the Lords of Boissy who were kin to the Broase family who gave
poperty to the Templars. Thibaut de Rougemont was a Lord of Boissy.
The name Charnay is presently associated with the new Order of Saint
George de Rougemont. Geoffry de Charnay, Knight Templar, was recieved
into the Order by Amaury de la Roche, a friend of Saint Louis.
Geoffry wrote the difinitive book on Chivalry. The Holy Shroud was
the property of the Count 'of the Rock' (Castle de la Roche) a "high
templar place". Philippe de la Roche, married, Jeanne de Rougemont,
their son, Guy de la Rochefoucauld married Jean Mortimer. The son of
Jeanne de Rougemont, Jean le Boutillier (Knight) de Senlis, married
Marguerite de Milly. The Senlis name is intersting as Rollo married
Poppa whose father was Hubert Count of Senlis. Rollo was a good
friend of William of Aquataine, who married Rollo's daughter. William
was a renouned troubador, and the grandfather of Eleanor of Aquataine
who went on Crusade with two hundred Noble Ladies dressed on costume
armour, she the Queen of the Amazons. This is key, as King Henry is
said to have married Rosamond Clifford who can trace her ancestry
directly to Rollo, Rosamond naming her son after Rollo's son, William
Longsword. For this reason I am now entertaining a theory that the
King of England was trying to secure the Kingdom of Burgundy that had
been sub-divided by many rulers. Henry designed the 'Lions Rampant',
the three lions representing Aquataine, Toulouse, and Rollo; but, is
the lion of Rollo representative of Burgundy, that was allied to
England at the time Joan of Arc fought against the English invasion,
she taken captive by the Duke of Burgundy and handed over for trial?
That the Dauphin King granted Jean and her brother titles to the
towns of Rougemont and L'Isle, found miles from each other in the
Franche-Comte, only adds to the intrigue, the Gordian Knot that the
history and Genealogies of those Nobles, Knights, and Kings did tie,
this knot defying many genealogists. I can only show how the
Rougemont name is connected, the explination as to how, and why they
came to own Templar secrets, and found Neo-Templar Orders, still to
be understood. That Chambrun d'Uxeloup de Rosemont, who bought Arginy
castle, is descended from Philippe le Beau the son of Maxmillian von
Hambsburg, suggests the Grail bloodline had come down to the
Rougemonts, thus only they could approach the secrets hidden at
Arginy?
One key is provided by Paul the Deacon who says it was at the elm at
Gisors where the Kings of the Franks met with the descendents of
Rollo to reninforce the bond and truce the Merovingians made with
Rollo when he invaded France, he titled the 'Father of Normandy' the
land that was granted to him if he fought back the other Saxon
invaders from Sweden who were coming after his conquest. Paul the
Deacon said the Templars wore a green pattee, which is the color of
cross the Order of Lazarus wore. The Templars were split in twain
over the engagement of Richard the Lion Hearted to Princess Alice,
the elm at Gisors a place where weddings took place?
Robert 1 "Old Burgundy" ruled Burgundy, he the son of Rolph, the son
of Rollo. Gilbert Chalon was the Duke of Burgundy, his son, Berenger
of Bayeux de Senlis. Beranrd de Chalon married Marie de Rougemont,
and had a son, Thibaut de Chalon. Jean de Chalon was a 'Prince of
Orange'. The Chateau de Chalon/Arley one of the first Castles built
in Burgundy, and was the home of the Princesses of Orange. Sergeant
Rosamond, the progenitor of the Rosamond family in America, rode
alongside Willian d'Orange. His ancestor, Philibert 'Prince of
Orange' was the Lord of Rougemont.
The Lords of Joinville became connected with vassal countries, and in
1132 took to step 'sut', the powerful Lords of Rougemont. Otto de la
Roche had the Shroud of Turin, and passed it to son of Jean de
Charny/Charnay and Marguerite de Jounville, these names associated
with the Priory de Sion, and 'Arcadia'. The Holy Grail is associated
with the Shroud, the Cathar, von Eschenbach, makes allusions to the
Shroud, and placed the Grail in Munsalvaesche, a name denoting a
mountainous region of safety, very much like the Languedoc in
general.
The Knights of St. George de Rougemont was created in 1390 by
Philibert d'Mollans, and Jehan d'Andelot who resided in Rougemont
where the annual chapter was held. Saint George is the patron Saint
of Knights. His banner of a red cross on a field of white is the base
of the Brittish flag, and is associated with the red pattee of the
Knights Templar. Saint George is honored by the Knights of the Garter
who trace their origin to the Knights of the Round Table. As a
coincidence, L'isle de Rougemont, of the Rougemont castle in Britiain
was one of the co-founders of the Knights of the Garter, whose early
records were destroyed. Is there a connection? One must also wonder
about the entitlements Joan of Arc and her brother recieved from the
King of France, they enobled and given the names Rougemont and
L'isle, which happen to be near each other in the Franche-Comte, an
area that was contested over by the Burgundians, England, and the
Germans, which is in keeping with the history of Joan, rather then
the area where she is said to have been born. Joan was given the name
the 'Lilly of France' after the town L'isle, a banner made for her
full of lillys.

When Fair Rosamond's remains were exhumed, like the body of
Rosenkrantz, she showed no corruption or decay. In Wolfram von
Eschenbach's 'Parzival', there is mentioned a 'Stone from the Stars'
that when gazed upon keeps one from dying, it also associated with a
family whose remains were impervious to corruption. It is suggested
this Stone if the 'Grail'.
Rosamond's lover/husband, King Henry fitzempress, was anxious to show
where lay the remains of King Arthur just before his death. A giant
of a man was exhumed with long shin bones. Rollo's ancestors were
known for their long legs, Rollo the ancestor of both Rosamond and
Henry, he descended from three Roman Emperors. Henry's mother was the
Empress of the Holy Roman Empire. Perchance did Perzival's Grail
Castle belong to Pontius Pilate who would surely seek high and low
for any comet that fell to earth - especially if King Herod responded
to it as an object of portence. Herod's son died after seeing an owl
just before he was to be crowned a Sun-king, the new Apollo. This is
more evidence the Jews believed in Augury and Auspices, the Herodians
surely coming in contact with Augury when they were raised in Rome.
The first autopsey performed in New France/Arcadia/Canada, was the
examination of the corpse of Philippe de Rougemont who died on one of
Cartier's expidition.
The first marriage and birth recorded in New France, came about when
Marguerite de la Rocque was marooned on a island in the Saint
Lawrence river by her relative, because she was carrying on a
shipboard romance! Apparently he married them before setting the
couple ashore for an extended honeymoon. The baby she born in the
wilderness, died, along with the father. Marguerite was the lone
survivor.
The name Rocque is the same as Roche, meaning a "rock" a castle built
upon a rock. A rock is associated with Sion, and the building of a
Temple there upon. Jesus said he would build his Church upon the
rock, meaning Peter. But, the Church is built upon Paul. Was Jesus
referring to "the stone from heaven" also known as the Holy Grail?
The Templars fled their port of ROCHElle to New France. The Roche
family is also the Rochefoucauld family, this the surname of Aimery,
a Knight Templar in charge of the Templars in Paris. This is also the
family that Queen Eleanor descends from, her daughter commissioning
the first Grail Romance to be written.
The kin who marooned Marguerite, is kin to the Roche family. Marquis
de la Roche set sail for Canada with a document giving him exclusive
rights to the fur trade, he establsihing a small colony on sable
Island. Is the Rocque name the same as Rocquemaure. Maxine d'Uxeloup
de Rougemont claims she is descended from an order of ancient
Templars.
In 1541 Cartier led his third and last expidition to New France, up
the Saint Lawrence where he established his headquarters at Cap-
Rouge. He was followed by Jean Francis de la Rocque, who may have had
other interests in getting rid of his cousin and her husband.
I suspect the Templars were also ancient mariners after the
Argonaughts, they perhaps the Hugenots? Ogmios-Hercules was aboard
the Argo Navis with Jason, this ship called by the Romans 'The Pirate
Ship'.
One of the researchers of the Rougemont/Rosemond name said that
Erhart de Rougemont purchased a house called Rebeuten-Zunft in Basle.
This is curious as Zun Rebeuten is a Guild in Basle. In 1411,
Frederick of Austria granted the Shaufhauser craftsman and dealers
the right to form Guilds. These Guilds would shape the politics of
Switzerland for centuries to come, and involve its most established
citizens. One of these illustrious members appears to be Rudolph
Erlach who lived in Castle Erlach on Biel Lake in the Canton of
Berne, a name that means "bear". Berne is the said home of Wolf
Dietric von Berne of the 'Ring' legend, he better known
as 'Theordoric the Great'. Supposedly Berne was named after the first
animal the founder of Berne, Bertold von Zahringen, killed. The civic
arms of Berne depicts a bear, and the arms of the town of Erlach
depicts the arm of a bear grasping an elder tree which says Erlach
came into possession of Berne, which was built on the site of one of
the oldest Christian churches in Europe dating to the first century.
This is very interesting as Pontius Pilate, who is revered as a Saint
in the Eastern Church, was said to have retired to a lake in
Switerzerland. In the Castle museum, on display, is a large net for
catching wolves, and a picture of the Guild of Rebleuten which today
depicts a wolf wieliding a Reubet, which is a curved knife for
harvesting grapes. There are vinyards near Castle Erlach given the
name Rebleuten. The name Erlach is also, Urlich, and in this name
many mysteries can be solved. I just recieved a small history of the
Rougemont/Rosemond family, and here are my notes:
"James (Jacque/Jacob) Rosemond was born in Basle January 1, 1654, he
the son of Urlich Rosemond was born in 1623, he the father of Erhart.
Before Basle the family resided in Holland and it is said they are
descended from the estate of Rosemont, near Belfort, in France, where
also the villiage of Rougemont is found. A letter from Erasmus to
Gottchalk Rosemondt (note the d) with a seal bearing a jumping fox
like the one he noticed on the wall of the house Rebleuten-Zunft in
Basle. Gotschalk Rosemont was a correspondent of the clebrated
Erasmus (1466-1536) the Dutch scholar and theologin, and the two
studied togather about 1483 at Bois le Duc at Louvan Belgium. A lodge
of Orangemen regularly met in the house of the former in Lietrum,
Rougemont parish in the Department of Doubs, and as a part of what
was known as Sundgau. A coat of arms related to the crusades and the
weaver cross was worn on the sholder by some crusaders. Rosamond
villiage is said to have been at one time embraced in the Neufchatel
which was a principality of William 3 'Prince of Orange' which
suggests why this James should be disposed to attache himself to the
forces of William."
It goes much deeper then that, as Rudolph Lord of Erlach "could boast
a glorious part in a dynasty of high ranking officials under the
Counts of Nidau". The castle of Nidau was inhabitted by the Counts
and Lords of Neufchatel, who were the Ferrette/Pfirt family who also
inhabitted Castle de Rougemont. This is the House of De Bar where
there exist a liniage of Knights named Ulrich and Rudolph holding the
title 'Chevalier De Berne'. These may be Knights Templars who are
associated with the 'Orange Oder' that is surely the society where
members of the Rougemont family met in "Department of Doubs, and as a
part of what was known as the Sundgau." The Ulrich names are found
here, the 'Orange Order' promoting the Protestant cause of William of
Orange who in other pages I show is related to the de Rougemonts.
William is said to have created a Order of Bankers which included the
Rothchilds. I have found the Rougemont name connected with the
Rothchilds in regards to the French Revolution and the Paris Stock
Exchange. The Napolean family married important banking families,
there a Du Temple de Rougemont family related to Napolean's brother.
What is intriguing is the idea that we may be looking at a family who
are kin to King Arhtur who was named after the bear constillation,
Arturus. Rene D'Anjou Duc de Bar is said to be kin to Arthur. King
Henry the second showed the resting place of Arthur and Guenivere on
his death bead. Henry fought an intriguing battle for Castle
Neufchatel employing the Knights Templars, this causing a split in
the Temple Order and the Kingdom of France. Joan Clifford may be from
Castle Rougemont that was owned by the Pfirt family who were the Ducs
D'Bar from where Jean of Arc and her brother hail, he given the name
de Rougemont when he was enobled by the Dolphin King. Fair also
means "white" as in Switzerland, and thus it was while at Castle
Rougemont, a young Henry met the love of his life?

"Sire, he lives a good league hence. Underneath the mountain. Right
against the forest fence."
In times of peril legend has it Good King Wenceslas will ride out
from under the mountian where he is at rest with the Blanik Knights
by his side. This comes from the legend of the prophetess- princess,
Libus, who lies asleep in Mount Blanik with her warrior knights
forever at ready to come to the defence of Prague.
In the 13th Century, the Pope declared holy war on the city of Prague
for refusing to stop the practice of two communions, verses the one.
This is a very good reason to make sure seperation of Church and
State is observed. Over 150,000 troops, mercenairies, knights,
nobles, and Bishops of the Church, were encamped outside the city
limits of Prague, they offered by the Pope absolution of sins and all
the booty they could get their hands on - for yet another act of
European geneocide, on par with the Albigensian Crusade.
I have yet to read an account of Libus coming to attack the knights
that protected the Bishops. However, women and their children manning
barricades in the streets were given much credit for saving this
enlightened city, one of the more progressive cities in Europe. This
manning of barricades was a theme repeated in the images that rose
from the French Revolution that Jean Jacque Rousseau has been giving
much credit for instigating. But, Rosseau was the personal secretary
of Prince Wenzel Anton Kaunitz, the said father of 'Enlightened
Absolutism'. Wenzel was the Chancillor and personal Councilor to the
Habsburgs, including two alleged Grand Masters of the Prieure de
Sion, Charles, and Maximilian De Lorraine, the son of Maria-Theresa.
Charles offered exiled members of the Stuart family refuge at Bar-le-
Duc. Elizabeth Stuart, would marry Frederick Wittelsbach, King of
Bohemia, and from them would come King George whom Amercia fought
their Revolution against. I have been tracing the root of this
Revolution to the Bohemain Statesman Wenzel (Wenceslas) whose
influence over the Habsburgs, and thus the Priure de Sion, would lead
to new freedoms, and a new age of Scientific Enlightenment that was
long supressed by Catholocism, it doing its best to supress the
Alchemists of Bohemia, the freethinkers, the philosophers, and
founders of the new religions that were born there, or, found refuge
there.
The Bohemian alchymist, Peter von Rosenberg, was a great supporter of
John Dee, they working with emperor Rudolph von Habsburg on several
alchymist projects. The Kaunitz family married into the Orsini-
Rosenberg family, and were Princesses of Bohemia who hid the
Antebaptist, they loosing their lands for protecting them from
religious intolerance, they put to death as heritics.
In his brave attempt to bring Europe our of its long Dark Age, from
under the thumb of Papal dictatorship, Wenzel Anton would succeed in
making the Catholic Church subserviant to the State. The sovereigns
who ruled these ever more complex States, were now seen as being
chosen by God, directly (In God We Trust) verses the Pope, and thus
should answer only to God. Alas, in the 18th. Century the ideas and
claims of King Henry 2, and Emporer Hohenstafen, are realized, this
new Enlightenment becoming the very theme of our American
Revolutionaries who at first were not interested in ridding
themselves of the rule of a Good King, as much as they were of being
rid of the rule of the King's Church-State, so many King owing
allegiance to Rome.
Wenzel managed to rid Clerics from the school system, and bring
layperson in to the teaching profession. He founded the Free Library,
and may have come in contact with Thomas Jeffersons and Benjamin
Franklin, he schooled in England. Wenzel tried to get the Empress to
accept the offer of becoming the Protecter of the British Academy of
Science, but she declined, her Catholcisim holding her back. Rosseau
is said to have influenced Thomas Jefferson in his model of the new
Amarican school system, that was based on Rosseau's novel 'Emile'
which contaned outlines on the best way to educate people.
Some of the components of the Enlightenment, were;
* The universe was fundimentally rational, that is, it can be
understood by theory, the use of reason alone.
* Truth can be arrived at through emperical observations, the use of
reason, and systamatic deductions.
* Religious doctrine has no place in the understanding of the
physical and human worlds.
My great granfather Wensel Anton Braskewitz, a Bohemian name for
Ambrosius, came to America from Bohemia with his wife Marie Roth. He
was a Freemason who named his first born son, Hugo, who in turn named
his only son, Victor. Victor was my father. We grew up surrounded by
books full of escoteric knowlege. I am certain my great grandfather
was named after the great Statesman who fought hard for the Arts, and
the rights of Artists, making Vienna the Capitol of the Arts it is
today. Wenzel pleaded with the Habsburgs to fund Mozart who though of
moving to another country due to the poverty he suffered. Wenzel was
the Protector of the Vienna Academy of Arts, and gave his students
personal passes, visas with his personal signature on them, after one
of them was arrested for being a spy, he about the landscape drawing
from nature - too close to a military instalation.
Wenzel Anton was very much like his name sake, Good King Wenceslas,
who understood this better then most Kings...
"He who would be the master of all, must be the servant of all."
* * *
I believe I have found the Grail liniage. I can connect the Rougemont
name with King David, and most of the Royalty of Europe. The
Tarnkappe "the cloak of invisibilty" can now be cast off, to reveal
the true King Arthur. This line is spliced to Frederic William, King
of Prussia. My great grandfather, William Stuttmiester, may have been
a descendant of a Teutonic Knight with the same name, and may have
been the stud master for Frederic.
William of Orange married Mary Stuart. This King of England obtained
the title d'Orange when his ancestor Hendrick 3, married Claudia of
Chalon, the daughter of William 7 of Chalon 'Prince of Orange' (1502)
Philibert 'Prince of Orange' was the Lord of Rougemont, Orgelet and
Montfaucon, the Viscount of Besancon, Duke of Gravina, Count of
Tonnere, and Charny.
The authors of 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' identify Guillem de
Gellon 'Prince of Orange' as a direct descendent of King David. He
was the Duke of Narbonne in Septamania, mentioned in Wolfren von
Eschenbach's poem as associated with the Holy Grail.
The device on Guillaume's Cote of Arms is the same as the eastern
exilarchs - the Lion of Judah. Consider the 'Lions Rmapant'. Saint
Guillaume was the Count of Toulouse, and the Marquis of Septimania,
Toulouse is represented by one of the Lions Rampant. He married
Cunegonde of Austria, her fahter, Carloman 2 King of Austria, brother
of Charlamagne. His father was Pepin 3 King of Franks 'Mayor of the
Palace'. His father was Charles Martel, who married Rotrude of Treves
(695) Her father was Saint Lievin of Treves, Bishop of Trier. He was
Viscount of Narbonne, and Queen Eleanor is his descendent through
Wiliam-Otto. He married Willegarde of Bavaria, whose father was
Theodon 2 Duke of Bavaria, his father, Garibaldi 2, whose son was
AGILULF, or Theodon (610).
The name Theodon suggests he is the second husband of of
Theodelinda 'Queen of Lombards' who was married to Authari 'King of
Lombards, who had a son named Agilulf, who appears to be the same -
one genealogy saying Theodelinda married here step-son, while another
shows she married her own son by Authari. I do not believe this was a
case of incest. I suspect Theodelinda was the stepmother of Agilulf,
but he was the son of Apsulinda, the daughter of the Merovingian
King, Clothchilde to whom King Authari was engaged before he married
Theodelinda. The Franks made war on the Lombards to prevent this
marriage. After defeating them, disposing them as the Kings of Italy,
I suspect history was tampered with, all traces of this union - all
but wiped out - but for Escehnbach's Grail Romance that was
comissioned by Mary of Champagne, daughter of Queen Eleanor of
Aquataine, who is of the Lions Rampant, that was on the flag draped
over the coffin of Princess Diana, who was a Stuart, and thus a
relative of both Williams 'Prince of Orange'. And thus when William
of Orange offered Sergeant Rosamond lands in Ireland for his Knightly
services, he was offering a reward to the loyalty of one of his kin,
for the Rosamond/Rosamund/Rougemont name is associated with the Dukes
of Chalon and Orange in several genealogies.
The Ring of the Nebilung has been associated with King Authari by
Richard Wagner. Authari was given the name 'Flavius' (as was Wolf
Dietric Von Burne) by Emperor Maurice of the Byzantine empire at
Ravena, where Authari's mother, Rosamund, took the massive Lombard
treasure, after having her husband, Alboin, slain - after he forced
her to drink from her father's skull. With this name, that is of the
family of Vespasian, the emperor of Rome, who fought in the battle
for the Temple of Jerualem, Authari was "raised to the imperial
diginity" meaning he "wore the purple" he given reign over
Septimania, where at Narbonne existed a large Jewish population that
are said to have carried the 'Seed of David'.
After the Temple fell, Queen Berenice, who carried the 'Seed of
David', was taken to Rome along with the Jewish quisling and
historian, Joseph 'Flavius' who was adobted by Vespasian, whose son,
Titus Flavius, took as his concubine, Queen Berenice, of whom Saint
Paul stood before in judgement after being accused of spreading a
false teaching, by Saint James the Nazarite, the brother of Jesus the
Nazarite, and thus a cousin of John the Baptist, a Nazarite for life.
I have traced the cosmology of the Nazarites to Crete, and to Obmios,
the Druidic Mercury of Marsielles, who is said to be the progenitor
of the Merovingain Franks. Ogmios is the inventor of the Ogham
finger-
bet that we see being used by Zechariah, the father of John the
Baptist, he and the Nazarite priests present at the naming of his
infant son, signing to each other. In the Koran, the Nazarite sing to
Jesus, he spekaing to them at eight years of age. These are
Foundlings, their mothers visited by Angels in their dreams.
In the corination book of Franz Joseph, Ogmios is depicted on a
podium. the forty gold chains attached to the tip of his tongue are
attached to the shields the Noble Ladies of the Habsburg Empire,
hold, in a circle, that surrounds Ogmios, like the Dactyles
surrounded the infant Zeus in his winnowing basket in the cave on
Crete, they rattling them when Zeus's father, Cronos, came to devour
his son, in order to hide his cries. The Dactyles taught Zeus how to
finger-sign. Cronos is Jehovah, and all shall be revealed when we
know the Rouge Dragon in Revelations 12, is God-el, and the Nehushtan
that Moses and Alexandre the Great did raise, to go before them, as
their ensign, which is the ensgin of the Empire "upon which the sun
will never set."
"Long live the King of the Ring" and his Red Dragon, who is the Angel
that guards the Gate of Eden with a sword named 'Rose'.

Queen Eleanor is said to have found her way into the center of the
Labyrinth Henry built for Rosamond by a clue of a rouge thread. Is
this the same rouge thread we find in the tale of Ariadne, also,
Arianrhod, the name of the Labyrinth Hurcules and King Arthur
survived their stay in? Aeneas, the founder of Rome was from Troy.
Other refugees from Troy settled in Paris and Britain. Near Rougemont
is found the ruins of another Roman temple. Was this area under the
secret sovereignty of the ancient Roman Empire? The Hapsburgs held
the title 'King of Romans'.
The name, Montjoi, was given to a temple emperor Augustus built in
the Alps to house Jupiter, the god of augurs, and thus the origin of
the name, 'Mon Jovis'. Jupiter is the god, Jove. Augustus was the
high priest of augurs, as apparently was Mark Anthony, and I suspect
Pontius Pilate, who was a Master Augur, and who examined Jesus,
perhaps for his knowlege of augury, and to see if he had any physical
flaws that would disqualify him from the office of the High Priest of
Israel - and from being the 'King of Romans'?
Augury was installed in the Roman Republic by Romulus as a means to
divine rightful kings, he going before his College of Augurs before
he put on the crown, augurs consulted hence as to determine the
divine right of future kings. Augurs were consulted on every
important matter of state, and could overturn laws, usually in favor
of the king, or emperor, and were made up of the Patrician class.
Romulus, also installed a College of Heralds who may be present at
the birth of Jesus. Augury is said to have come from the Chaldee, and
thus the Magi are augurs, they holding the office of 'King of
Augurs'.
Mark Antony was an augur of renoun, and was Julius Caesar's 'Master
of the Horse'. Antony came to live amongst the Franks when he was in
exile in the Translepine, he surely visiting the augur temple at
Montjoi. The Merovingians, and much of the royalty of Europe, are
descended from Mark Antony through his nephew, emperor Claudius.
In regards to the office of 'Master of the Horse' in Europe, they
appear to perform the same functions as the augurs of Rome, they too
in charge of Heralds who were under the command of the Grand Master
who was conventially called "MONTJOI SAINT-DENIS." Were they sent to
fetch the Oriflamme, and it is their cry we hear?
In Samuel Daniel's 'Histories' he tells of the meeting at the elm at
Gisors between King Henry Fitzempress, and the King of Franks,
inorder to arrange the wedding of Richard 'The Lion-Hearted' to
Philippe Augustus's daughter, Alice. The descendents of Rollo had
been marrying the Kings of France at this elm to form a blood-tie,
and ally the the Saxons against the Vikings that may come hence from
Norway. In Daniel's report of the disagreement between Philippe and
Henry, he claims that the Knights Templar took Henry's side - but, he
claims the Templars wore a GREEN pattee, rather then a red one. The
Knights of 'Order of Lazarus' wear a green pattee, and kept their
numbers small at twelve. The college of augurs was increased from
four to nine, and may consitute the number of the original Knight's
Templars, they augurs who were sent to the Holyland to oversee
important functions, including royal weddings?
One of the Grand Masters of this order was Gautier de Neufchatel,
that is located where Rougemont is found, it a district of the
Franche-Compte. His Coat of Arms depicts three castle, like the
castle in the Rougemont Coat of Arms. Thibaut de Rougemoint was
titled 'Lord of Neufchatel, and he formed an alliance of three
castles before the inhabitants went on crusade. Denis de Rougemont
was enobled by Fredric William who is kin to the Rougemonts.
There is a de la Rosa, a 'castle of the rock' found in Neufchatel,
that may be the source of the name de la Roche from which the famous
Rochefoucauld family hail, and Queen Elanore who married Henry
Fitzempress. A Grand Master of the Knights Templar, Aimery de la
Rochefoucauld, married Jean de Rougemont. Perhaps this is the source
of the name La Temple de Rougemont? These families will come to the
New World and Canada which was also named New Arcadia for the reaon
these people are kin to the Kings and Queens of Athens and what was
once the Arcadian League that was renamed by the Romans.
The New Advent claims Saint Bernard founded the Knights Templars at
Montjoie, on the ruins of Jupiter's temple, he turning it into a
military order. This is not true, his claim written by another.
Augurs were conculted in the building of temples, they drawing a
circle in the earth the "seperated and concecrated" the ground to
Jove. This circle was called the conTEMPLARi, or the TEMPLAR caeli,
meaning "temples of the sky". Jesus claimed he could rebuild the
temple in three days. The augurs made a clearing on a highplace so
they could see clearly around them. Such a clearing was called by the
Romans, a "rosa", and were protected even though never used to build
a temple upon. I beleive the nine Templar Knights stored augur
secrets at Arginy; and perhpas other artifacts they gathered in
Jerusalem needed for the foundation of a NEW SION.
Mund means "protection", thus, I beleive I have found the true
meaning of my mother Rosemary's maiden name....Rosamund, that name
coming from Rougemont, or the Mont of Rosa. Was this going to be the
site of a new temple - after the loss of the Holyland. The first
congress of Sion met nearby. Rosamund is a name given to the
Shekinah "the Light of God". In the finding of my lost daughter,
Heather, I have arrived at the tower of Beauty in a maze of thorns;
for Sleeping Beauty is given the name Rosamond. Consider the Tower of
the Nine Beauties at Arginy.
Emperor Claudius founded a College of auspices, or augurs, who may
have become the Comacine Masters who lived on a enchanted isle on
Lake Como in Lombard Italy. They were a College of Artists,
Architects, and Masons, and are said to have been responcible for
producing most of the art in the World during the Dark Ages. They may
have been funded by Rosamund 'Queen of Lombards' who built Saint
Columba an Abbey in the Cottian Alps.
* * *
Rosamund 'Queen of Lombards' is said to have had her husband killed
after he forced her to drink from a skull-cup made from her father's
severed head taken as a trophy by Albion 'King of Lombards' after he
slay the King of the Gepide in battle. Rosamund tied her husband's
sword to the bedpost while he slept, then called in a strongman named
Samson. Alboin fought him off with a stool, to no avail. Rosamund
then stole the vast Lombard treasure, and Alboin's daughter by a
Merovingian Princess, and took the treasure and the child to emperor
Justinian in Ravena. There, Samson slay a lion in a arena.
The authors Baigent and Leigh I believe are mistaken when they
conclude the Carolingians usruped the Merovingian Franks, as the
Lombards descend from them, they adherents of the Arian heresy that
was once the dominent religion in Europe, and who appear to have been
Johnnites who believed John the Baptist was the true Messiah. Charles
Martel helped drive out the Sarecens, as did King Hardi Kanute in the
Franche-Comte. Robert Guisgard lived here, thus the Kings of Hainaut
(Danes) played a big role in the area. The Roucy, or Coucy family
lived in Rougemont Castle, Baldwin 'The Sheriff' descended from the
Roucys, he the building Rougemont Castle in Britain.
In better times. Alboin and Rosamond built Saint Columba a monastary
in the Cottian Alps. Columba is said to have smuggled
Dagosbert "dragon born" the future King of the Merovingian Franks to
Albion (England)where he was tutored by Saint Wilfred. Dagosbert was
a Foundling left in a forest to die, or be killed by assasins, as was
Wolf Deitrich von de Burne, who was born during a star-shower, his
birth compared to Revelations 12 'The Woman and the Dragon'. Dietrich
was "dragon born" as are other Foundlings in the Grail Legends that
stem from stories of the infant Zeus and Moses 'The Rose of Sharon'.
Theodoric came to own a sword named 'Rose' found amongst the bones of
a slain Dragon.
A Bishop had the remains of Fair Rosamond evicted from a nunnery
after seeing how she was being revered by Knights leaving on a
Crusade, her tomb draped with white scarves, hundreds of candles
burning around the clock. The Bishop called Rosamond a whore and had
her remains skattered to the four winds. Upon her sepulcher her
Lover-
King had a Grail Cup carved intwined in a vine. Henry had also built
a Labyrinth around Rosamond, and a well called 'Rosamond's Well'
after the story of Tristan Isolde. A pond nearby became a place where
unhappy lovers came to end their misery.
Upon his death King Henry revealed the burial place of Arthur and
Guenivere, Arthur's remains discribed as belonging to a man sevent
feet tall. For this reason I suspect this might be the reamains of
Authari 'King of Lombards, who after throwing off his cloak, he in
disguise when he went to get a glimpse of his future Queen, Authari
stands up in the stirups of the horse he is riding, and drives his
axe high up into a tree, saying "Authari is wont to do that." Later,
this axe will be struck by lightening, an auspices for Authari's
coming death. This could be a srource for the 'Sword in the Stone',
only a King as tall and strong as Authari, able to pull this axe from
the tree.
Godfrey de Bouillon was said to have supernatural powers, as did all
the Merovingian 'Long-hair' Kings. The Pope had the long hair of one
King cut as he suspected it was the source of their power, thus, they
were Nazarites, after Samson and John the Baptist? This is applicable
to my theory that Ogmios was a Nazarite, a Mercury, a Thor, and
Messenger who taught the Foundling Zeus how to finger-sign. Consider
the "spark of life" between Adam and God Leonardo Divinci depicted
high in the Sistine Chapel. Divinci is said to have been a Grand
Master of the Prieure de Sion, that guarded the bloodline brought to
Marseilles by Mary Magdalene and Jospeh of Arimathea. Ogmios and the
Ogham alphabet was used by the Druids of Marseilles, where Ogmois
lived and took to wife a Merovingian Princess.

The 'Ordre of the Solar Temple' is a Neo-Templar grop that appears to
have been founded by Chambrun d'Uxeloup de Rougemont after finding
Templar secets in Arginy Castle. Nearly a hundred members of this
Ordre killed themselves in France and Switzerland in anticipation of
a coming comet, the same comet the 'Heaven's Gate' cult believed
would take them to a planet of origin, they perhaps believing like so
many, that the Knight Templars were, and still are protecting a
Sacred Bloodline from a distant star, who may be the Illuminati.
Rumor has it Princess Grace Kelly was a secret member of this Order,
who had her killed. The Prince of Monaco holds the title 'Count of
Rosemont'.
In 'Ariol' by William Ainsworth, a Cyprianus de Rougemont is
identified as a member of the Illuminati, and a Knight of the Rose
Cross. There even exists a fictional genealogy belonging to a Vincent
de Rougemont who is persued by Vampires over several centuries.
There was what can be discribed as a "cult following" around my late
sister, the world famous artist who signed her work by my mother's
maiden name 'Rosamond'. Rosamond married Garth Benton a grandnephew
of the famous artist Thomas Hart Benton, whose daughter Jesse married
Mel Lyman who had a cult following in Boston. We were nieghbors in
1970. The famous poet Joaquin Miller founded the 'Bohemian Club' in
San Francisco, that later moved to Monte Rio, where it is said
the 'Illuminati' now met. Joachin lived in Eugene Oregon and settled
in the Oakland hills just above my great granfather's farm, he
carrying my infant father to the trolly. His daughter was called
the 'White Witch' and as children we used to call her for advice.
The 'White Lady' of Rougemont is said to haunt the heights where
Khrishnamurti came and spoke, he said to be the second coming of
Jesus by the heir of Madaam Blavatski's Theosophic Society, a title
this man from India declined. My grandmother, Mary Magdalene
Rosamond, wife of Royal Rosamond, used to go visit this Sage when she
lived on the Wieneke family farm in the Ojai Valley, where Meher
Baba, the 'God-man' also had a retreat. There is a story about his
vist there, about a grape vine, a witch, and a fire that destroyed
the retreat on Sulpher Mountain, only the Rose Garden spared.
Gauthier de Costes de la Calprenede is said to have written the first
historic romance novel when 1668 he compiled the history of the
Merovingian Frankish Kings in his monumental work 'Pharamond'. Within
we have an account of Pharamond's love for Rosemonde, the Cambrian
princess whose tribe, the Cimri, are mentioned in the Bible, they
associated with the Royal Scythians and the people of the 'Prince of
Rosh' that Ezekiel prophecised against in chaper 38. They are the
horseman of the Russian Steppes who would form the Celtic peoples
when they moved west. The ancestors of the Merovingians are kin to
the Cimri, who they chased into Asia, all the way to Ceylon India.
They are more then likely the Tocharain people who traveled the Silk
Road, and whose mummies are now being unearthed.
The Royal Scots claim in the 'Arbroath' they are descended from the
Cimri, a name that means "red", or "rouge". The Rougemonts can be
traced to both Celtic/Germanic peoples through the Courtenays, the
Briennes, and the Hainauts who were the Crusader King of Jerusalem,
and the Emperors of Constantinople that fell to the Muslims in 1453.
My theory that the tale of Rosamond, the 'Briar Rose' is a
Merovingian story, is made more plausible by the love story of
Pharamond and Rosamond. In another tale, Pharamond was also a Knight
of the Round table. The Rougemonts of france are kin to the Dukes of
Champagne. It was Mary of Champagne who commissioned Chreiten de
Troyes to write his Arthurian tales. Mary was the daughter of
Eleanore, whose parents are kin to the Rougemonts thru the
Rochefoucauld, and De La Roche/Rosa family, whose Coat of Arms also
depicts a crane holding a roch, with this motto "God is my Rock". A
roche is a fish, a rock, and a rose. Princess Diana's mother is
surnamed, Roche, and this is why Di is titled the 'Rose of England'.
The Knight Templars were said to have worshipped a Celtic Goddess
named, Rosmirthe. Could this name be Rose-merry, or Merry Rose? This
name would apply to the May Queen, who was later transformed into the
Virgin Mary, the month of May dedicate to venerating the mother of
Christ. She is also Artemis/Diana, and Flora the Roman Goddess of
Flowers. May Day was a day of making mirth and being merry, full of
dances and the adorning of flowers. The May Queen was crowned with a
garland of roses, and the women who wished to concieve children would
gather around a basin filled with rose petals. We find Flora in
Botticelli's 'Primavera'.
May Day was sacred to Robin Hood and Maid Marian who Robert Graves
associates with Mary Gyp, or, Mary of Egypt from whom the term 'Merry
England' is derived. In several painting she is seen with white
flowers, thus the name Blanchfleur is associated with her -
especially in the story of 'Flora and Blanchfleur' written around
1165.
Julius Caesar is said to have conquored England (Albion) so as to
find the most beautiful woman in the world named 'Ffleur'.
Blanchefleur 'White Flower' was the mother of Tristan, who named her
son "sorrowful" for he was born just after he husband died in battle.
Rachael named her last-born son, Benoni, or Benjamin,
meaning "sorrowful". There is a Blancheflower Princess of the Franks,
and thus is reinforced the claim the Franks were descendents of the
tribe of Benjamin, and are also tied to the Trojans. In
the 'Cronicles of Hainaut' we see such a claim made by Jacque de
Guise, the Burgundians worshipping the Goddess Diana/Artemis, but is
she Flora, and thus the architypal Virgin Mary?
Percival encounters a woman named Blanchefluer who guides him in his
search for the Holy Grail. Persival is associated with the terot card
the 'Fool' who holds a white rose in one hand. I have identifed this
rose as Rosa Mundi 'The Rose of the World' and the 'Rose of the
Shekinah', the light of God. The Goddess Diana is often depicted as
holding up a torch, and the Freemasons are said to have used her for
the model of the Statue of Liberty they helped bring to our shore.
The Masons put the mysterious 'Widow's Son' at the core of their
secret teaching, and thus this is the child of Sub-Rosa?
Rosemertha, or, Rosmerta was the wife of Esus, also Hesus,
meaning 'Lord' or 'Master' these two titles Jesus was given. In the
Q'uran, Jesus is known as Essa. Esus was the Gaulish Hermes. Gaul was
once called Essuvi. Ogmios the inventor of the Ogham is also
considered the Hermes of Gaul, and a progenitor of the Franks. Esus
is associated with the Gods Taranis, 'the Thunderer', and
Teutates 'God of People'. Taranis is kin to Donar, and thus Thor, who
is Hermes, who is kin to Donneemden 'son of the earth or the
thunder'. The sons of Zebedee were called 'sons of thunder' they twin
brothers who became Jesus's disciples, his Messengers.
Rosmerta is depicted carrying a cornucopia and the caduceus wand, two
serpents entwined on a staff, that Hermes carried. She owned the
power to heal. The name Rosmerte is Celtic and is derived from
smert "provision" and ro "large". I believe she is carrying the
Graal, the 'horn of plenty'. In a marble relief she is shown standing
next to her seated husband who is holding the 'snake of life' thus
these two are associated with Adam and Eve, and the worship of Baal
the thunder god?
Esus is depicted as wielding an axe, he cutting down a chestnut tree.
Rosmerte's horn of plenty is associated with Dagda's club, thus she
is his daughter? Thor wielded a hammer. He is associated with the
Gaulish Ercole or Mars, and the Mercury Cimbor Cimrianus the greater
god of the Cimri given this Latin name, MERCURIUS AVERNUS GEBRINIUS
DONNEEMDEN who is seen with a upside-down cross, and is associated
with the 'Green Man'. Thor's mother was Gaea, and Maia was the mother
of Hermes who was bonr in ARCADIA.
Esus is also associated with blood sacrifices and hanging, and thus
Odin, who hung himself in a pine tree and had his side pierced with a
lance so he go into the underworld, the afterlife, and foresee the
future. I believe Absalom did the same thing during his revolt of the
ten tribes so he could see another alternative to killing his father,
King David, as many Seers told him he must. Is Esus, Absalom, who
dwelt in Anatolia amongst the the Biblical Cimri, who were then
chased to Ceylon, then came back again to become the Scotts?
Near Lake Neufchatel there is being unearthed artifacts of a advanced
Celtic civilization just twenty miles from Rougemont where the legend
of the 'White Lady' and Romerthe has found a home. I believe they are
one and the same due to the white marble statues of Rosmerte found
there. She is also associated with springs, and thus I believe she is
the archetypal Melusine, the Mermaid, who is associated with Mary
Magdalen, who I suspect was Rosmerte, or a disciple of her and her
husband's teaching, as I have identified John the Baptist as the new
Hermes, he a Nazarite like Absalom. John would have been married, but
Rosmerte was against marriage, as were the Cathars, they the
practitioners of Courtly Love, and said worshipers of the beautiful
Rosmerte.
* * *
The Nazarites knew the Ogham finger-bet, as John is holding up his D
finger standing for 'thunder'as this finger is called 'the hammer'.
This finger is representative of the the Nehushtan, the 'Brazen
Serpent' that was upon the wand, the rod of Moses. While in the
wilderness the multitude asked Aaron and Moses to make gods to go
before them. They were asking them to make axes, Minoan axes, that
were considered Gods.
Esus is associated with a bull with three skulls, he with just one.
Esus held a key to the underworld. He is therefore associated with
Arianrhod and the Labyrinth, and Caer Sidde the faery castle in Gwion
Bach's the 'Spoils of Annwm'. Here King Arthur survived his stay in
the 'Seat Perilous' meaning he died and was reborn as the second
Adam. Aaenas, the King of Troy and founder of Rome, also made a
journey into the underworld. The worship of Rosmerte and Hesus was
very popular in the Roman empire.
In 'La Morte D'Arthur' Mallory depicts the Graal as a cornucopia.
Jesus is feeding the multitude in miraculous ways. But, is it not
Mary Magdalen as Rosmerta who is doing this? Is she also doing the
healing? Leonardo DaVinci depicts Mary present at the Last Supper,
she one of the twelve and thus a Thor, a Messenger.
Some scholars are claiming Arthur went home to Burgundy and died
there. There are two other castles associated with the White Lady,
one called Mont-Or, it said Thor was worshiped there. The Lords of
Rougemont paid homage to the Dukes of Champagne where the Grail
Legends were authored and presented to Marie of Champagne who is a
descendent of Melusine, who is depicted with a serpent tail, and
also, with two tails of a fish. Are these the two tails of the
serpents that entwine the caduceus wand, and the one tail of
the 'Serpent of Life' who has been titled the 'Serpent de la Rouge'?
Here was a successful amalgamation of a Celtic and Roman cosmology
that came to meet in the Alps, that I suspect is at the core of
Christianity that adobted and mimiced many apsects of the worship of
Thor and Odin, in order to absorb the followers of Rosmerte who was a
threat to the Pope for the reason she was a female deity who had
equal power and status with Jesus and John.

My grandfather, Royal Rosamond, wrote Pulp Fiction
for 'Romance', 'Out West', and 'Liberty Magazine'. He was a good
friend of Dashiel Hammet, and tutored Erle Stanley Gardner in the
rudiments of writing, he later to create Perry Mason. My aunt told me
of falling asleep to the sound of Erle and Royal pecking away on a
typewriter in the living room of their Ventura home.
Erle Stanley Gardner was born in Malden, Massachusetts. In 1909 he
graduated from Palo Alto High School, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
While working as a typist in an law office in California, he 'read
law' without formal instructions and was admitted to the bar in 1911.
From 1911 to 1918 Gardner worked as a lawyer in Oxnard, California,
for I.W. Stewart, a corporate attorney. During this period he
defended Chinese clients, and became known as "t'ai chong tze" (the
big lawyer). From Oxnard he moved to Ventura, where he had a law firm
with Frank Orr. From 1918 to 1921 he was a salesman for Consolidated
Sales Company, but returned then to Ventura, where he continued as a
lawyer until 1933. In the courtroom Gardner radiated self-confidence
like later Perry Mason, with whom he also shared appetite for thick
steaks. In the early 1920s he began writing western and mystery
stories for the pulp magazines. Gardner was of the most successful
writers before he ever published a novel.
To earn additional income Gardner turned to pulp writing, using the
pen name Charles M. Green. In the mid-1920s he contributed regularly
Black Mask magazine and became one of its most popular contributors.
At the time of the Depression Gardner wrote westerns for a penny a
word, selling to such publications as Western Round-Up, West Weekly,
and Western Tales. By 144 Gardner had produced 144 short stories and
301 novelettes.
In the illustration from William Ainsworth's 'Auriol' by Phiz, we see
what may be the archetypal inspiration for Dracula. This is a story
about the Rougemonts, a family of Rosicrucians. Here we see a de
Rougemont entering the Rosicrucian crypt of his ancestor, Cyprian de
Rougemont.
"The door, which was of stout oak, was locked, but holding up the
light towards it, he read the following inscription:
POST C.C.L. ANNOS PATEBO, 1550.
"In two hundred and fifty years I shall open!" cried Rougemont, "and
the date 1550 -- why, the exact time is arrived. Old Cyprian must
have foreseen what would happen, and evidently intended to make me
his heir. There was no occasion for the devil's interference. And
see, the key is in the lock. So!" And he turned it, and pushing
against the door with some force, the rusty hinges gave way, and it
fell inwards. From the aperture left by the fallen door, a soft and
silvery light, streamed forth, and, stepping forward, Rougemont found
himself in a spacious vault, from the ceiling of which hung a large
globe of crystal, containing in its heart a little flame, which
diffused a radiance gentle as that of the moon, around, This, then,
was the ever-burning lamp of the Rosicrucians, and Rougemont gazed at
if with astonishment. Two hundred and fifty years had elapsed since
that wondrous flame had been lighted, and yet it burnt on brightly as
ever. Hooped round the globe was a serpent with its tail in its
mouth -- an emblem of eternity -- wrought in purest gold; while above
it were a pair of silver wings, in allusion to the soul."
This illustration was done by the eminent nineteenth-century British
book illustrator Hablot Knight Browne, who was born 11 June, 1815. He
would illustrate some of Charles Dickens most famous books that were
the Pulp Fiction of his day. Phiz was Browne's nickname. His work is
very Gothic, and is found in the Pickwick Papers, David Copperfield,
Tale of Two Cities, and The Old Curiosity Shop.
Ainsworth was good friends with Bulwer-Lytton who wrote extensively
on Rosicrucian themes. In 1838 he published a version of a dream in a
novella called Zicci in Ainsworth's magazine, the Monthly Chronicle.
This fragment was later expanded as Books 2 and 3 of his 1842 novel,
Zanoni. Other stories of the occult and paranormal were to follow.
White magic is portrayed in the earlier Zanoni (1842). Zanoni stands
for the virtuous version of daemonic will. He has lived for many
centuries as a member of a wise circle of initiates who have
discovered the secret of eternal life. Taking another's place on the
scaffold, during the Reign of Terror, he offered the pattern for
Sidney Cartons sacrifice in Dickens's A Tale of Two Cities. Lytton
stated that this novel represents the fullest expression of his
thought. We can think of it as a Rosicrucian novel of ideas. It
brought to a nineteenth century audience the timelessly fascinating
Rosicrucian alchemical tradition. The character of Zanoni represents
his synthesis of these ideals. For its treatment of these, it belongs
with his historical novels.
Ainsworth and his Rougemonts may have been the inspiration for
the 'Prince de le Nuit'(Prince of the Night) books that are Pulp
Fiction being written in France. Here we see many generations of
Rougemonts taking on Vampires.
Then there is the article in Nexus magazine about Arginy castle that
is owned by the Rougemonts who dug for lost Templar Treasure and
Hermetic secrets, and were attcked by a ball of light. It was
concluded only a special person of Templar liniage can get past these
guardian daemons.
William Harrison Ainsworth was born in Manchester on February 4 1805,
the first child of Thomas Ainsworth, a prominent local solicitor, and
Ann Harrison, the daughter of a Unitarian minister. He moved to
London to study law in 1824, where he met Lamb, and through him J. G.
Lockhart, Henry Colburn, Leigh Hunt, Mary Shelley and John Ebers,
lessee of the King's Theatre, whose daughter, Fanny, he married in
1826. Ainsworth's first novel, Sir John Chiverton, a little gothic
number, written in collaboration with school friend J. P. Aston, was
published in 1826 and bought him to the attention of Sir Walter
Scott, to whom he was presented the same year. Scott's journals
privately refer to him as an imitator.
After a failed attempt at a career in publishing, Ainsworth returned
to the law to support his wife, his three daughters and his debts,
but his professional struggle between literature and the law came to
an end in 1834 with the publication of his hugely popular Gothic
romance Rookwood, with a cameo by highwayman Dick Turpin, which
bought fame over night. Ainsworth also met and befriended Charles
Dickens that year, introducing the young journalist to Forster,
Macrone and Cruikshank. Fanny Ainsworth could not cope with her
dandy-
husband's celebrity, and left the following year.
Ainsworth followed Rookwood with a more conventional historical
novel, Crichton, in 1837, but its only moderate success, public
pressure and financial problems, bought about by a bitter battle with
his in-laws over the custody of his children, meant than Ainsworth
desperately needed a hit. His brief period as Scott's literary
successor in the eyes of the press after Rookwood had also given way
to Dickens' meteoric rise, a literary superiority to which Ainsworth
cheerfully deferred.
Rosamond Clifford is introduced by Sir Walter Scott in two of his
novels- The Talisman and Woodstock.
"About a bow-shot from the gate south-west, remain foundation signs
of that structure, erected by King Henry the Second, for the security
of Lady Rosamond, daughter of Walter Lord Clifford, which some poets
have compared to the Dedalian labyrinth, but the form and circuit
both of the place and ruins show it to have been a house and of one
pile, perhaps of strength, according to the fashion of those times,
and probably was fitted with secret places of recess, and avenues to
hide or convey away such persons as were not willing to be found if
narrowly sought after. About the midst of the place ariseth a spring,
called at present Rosamond's Well; it is but shallow, and shows to
have been paved and walled about, likely contrived for the use of
them within the house, when it should be of danger to go out."
Count Vittorio Alfieri "The greatest tragic poet of Italy" wrote a
epic poem titled 'Rosamunda'. Cervantes wrote about Fair Rosamond in
his 'Los trabajos de Persiles y Sigismunda'.He dramatically altered
the legendary material within the context of his Christian
romance. An examination of the transformations which Rosamond
Clifford undergoes in Persiles will shed further light on the
author's exemplary vision of mankind, in which characters essentially
appear as archetypal figures making their pilgrimage through the
lower and upper worlds of romance. It is significant that Rosamunda
appears in the sequence of adventures in the North, a region which
Cervantes markedly associates with the motifs of darkness,
separation, death, and barbarity.
Gauthier de Costes de la Calprenede is said to have written the first
historic romance novel when 1668 he compiled the history of the
Merovingian Frankish Kings in his monumental work 'Pharamond'. We
have an account of Pharamond's love for Rosemonde, the Cambrian
princess whose tribe, the Cimri, are mentioned in the Bible, they
associated with the Royal Scythians and the people of the 'Prince of

the Cimri, who they chased into Asia, all the way to Ceylon India.
They are more then likely the Tocharain people who traveled the Silk
Road, and whose mummies are now being unearthed. The Royal Scots
claim in the 'Arbroath' they are descended from the Cimri, a name
that means "red", or "rouge".

Some of the components of the Enlightenment, were;
* The universe was fundimentally rational, that is, it can be
understood by theory, the use of reason alone.

In the finding of my lost daughter,
Heather, I have arrived at the tower of Beauty in a maze of thorns;
for Sleeping Beauty is given the name Rosamond.
* * *

Rosmerte.
* * *

We
have an account of Pharamond's love for Rosemonde, the Cambrian
princess whose tribe, the Cimri, are mentioned in the Bible, they
associated with the Royal Scythians and the people of the 'Prince of
Rosh' that Ezekiel prophecised against in chaper 38.
The Royal Scots
claim in the 'Arbroath' they are descended from the Cimri, a name
that means "red", or "rouge".

Some of the components of the Enlightenment, were;
* The universe was fundimentally rational, that is, it can be
understood by theory, the use of reason alone.

In the finding of my lost daughter,
Heather, I have arrived at the tower of Beauty in a maze of thorns;
for Sleeping Beauty is given the name Rosamond.
* * *

Rosmerte.
* * *

We
have an account of Pharamond's love for Rosemonde, the Cambrian
princess whose tribe, the Cimri, are mentioned in the Bible, they
associated with the Royal Scythians and the people of the 'Prince of
Rosh' that Ezekiel prophecised against in chaper 38.
The Royal Scots
claim in the 'Arbroath' they are descended from the Cimri, a name
that means "red", or "rouge".

Some of the components of the Enlightenment, were;
* The universe was fundimentally rational, that is, it can be
understood by theory, the use of reason alone.

* * *
In the finding of my lost daughter,
Heather, I have arrived at the tower of Beauty in a maze of thorns;
for Sleeping Beauty is given the name Rosamond.
* * *

Rosmerte.
* * *

We
have an account of Pharamond's love for Rosemonde, the Cambrian
princess whose tribe, the Cimri, are mentioned in the Bible, they
associated with the Royal Scythians and the people of the 'Prince of
Rosh' that Ezekiel prophecised against in chaper 38.
The Royal Scots
claim in the 'Arbroath' they are descended from the Cimri, a name
that means "red", or "rouge".
